Some Dogs never make it into shelters
Thats What Lil Buddy Rescue is About

Teresa Carver Justice
For the last 23 years, I been helping strays in my area get a loving home they deserve. I have seen the need for dog rescue in this area , so I decided to devote my life to animal rescue. It is the God-given desire of my heart to care for animals that have been abandoned and left to die on theses back roads. God gave me a deep Love for animals at a very young age, and a passion to care for all animals. In 2010 Lil Buddy Rescue came about after I was able to connect with rescue teams that assist me in getting homeless animals into good homes. On average, I care for 1500 animals in my home every year, and I've done it with my own money and with help of many Facebook fans I get very few community donations. When I get the dogs , many are suffering. They need food, shelter, and medical care. I have successfully treated hundreds of animals for things like parvo, parasites, mange, worms and infections. I work with larger rescues that take them out of my rescue and find them loving homes that they deserve. I choose not to adopt many out, because in this area they are very few great homes for dogs. People don’t think of them as anything to put a lot of care in.
We achieve 501c3 status , I hope one day to providing spay and neuter services to residents. Spay/neuter is a proven way to reduce pet overpopulation. Spay/neuter is the only permanent, 100 percent effective method of birth control for dogs and cats. According to the US Humane Society there are an estimated 6-8 million homeless animals entering animal shelters every year in the United States. Barely half of these animals are adopted. Tragically, the rest are euthanized. About 2.4 million healthy, adoptable cats and dogs—about one every 13 seconds—are put down in U.S. shelters each year.
